At Temple Meads

Posted by Katherine (Bristol, United Kingdom) on 4 March 2010 in Transportation.

I had some time to spare before my train to Sheffield so took a few photos (also see tomorrow's upload) of the inside of Brunel's Bristol Temple Meads station. The train seen here was about to depart for Cardiff Central.

This was heavily cropped in from the sides, and has unfortunately become quite grainy when blown up to Am3's standard image width. It also works better when you can see the whole thing at once!

I'm keen to learn and improve so any guidance is appreciated.

yes .. this is a great idea but try making your image, say, 800px high x 263 wide rather than 800 wide . . that way, it should all show on screen ! Worth doing, coz it is a good photo idea and makes for a neat shot.

@Ronnie 2¢: Thanks for the tip, Ronnie, I'll do that next time. Now you say it it sounds really obvious!
